ST. LOUIS — The ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Water Division has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for two parts of the city after a water main break.
The 36-inch main broke Tuesday and caused low water pressure.
The are:
• Jeff-Vander-Lou, Carr Square and ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Place
• Benton Park, Marine Villa and Soulard
The Water Division said in a news release that no contamination has been found in the water supply.
Officials are testing the water and results available in 24 hours will determine when the advisory is lifted.
The Water Division suggests water be boiled vigorously for three minutes before using it for food preparation, drinking, brushing teeth and diluting fruit juices. Ice cubes should be thrown away and remade with water that has been boiled.
