As part of a $100 million renovation project, Powell Hall will get new, comfy seats and more leg room. The number of seats will be reduced from 2,683 to 2,150.
A 65,000-square-foot addition on the south and east sides of Powell Hall will include space for a new lobby, an education center, an expanded backstage and rehearsal space. Green spaces and additional parking will be added outside.
