COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥� The anatomy of not one but two moments that might have saved this Missouri basketball season is deceptively simple: a matter of space and time; a matter of a basketball leaving a heaving hand just before a clock strikes zero, then passing through the prized white twine.

Rape, sodomy and kidnapping charges filed against a high-profile high school basketball recruit who was visiting Mizzou on a recruiting trip have been dismissed by prosecutors in Columbia, Missouri.

Keiner Asprilla, a former center from St. Peter鈥檚 Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey, was arrested in New Jersey as a 鈥渇ugitive from justice鈥� in January 2025 following an official recruiting visit to Mizzou during which he allegedly raped an inebriated female.

COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥� Missouri has added a wide receiver with Southeastern Conference experience via the transfer portal. He just so happens to be friends with the Tigers' new quarterback, Austin Simmons.

Former Mississippi wideout Cayden Lee committed to Mizzou on Saturday, joining his friend Simmons in transferring from Ole Miss to MU.聽
