JEFFERSON CITY 鈥 Attorney General Andrew Bailey said this week he would file a lawsuit against the state of New York alleging interference in the 2024 presidential election.
A New York City jury last month found former President Donald Trump guilty of falsifying records to cover up a sex scandal.
The Missouri attorney general did not say when he would file.
鈥淪tay tuned,鈥 he said late Thursday on social media site X. 鈥淲e have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages Missourians鈥 right to a free and fair election.鈥
