David Carson, Post-DispatchOpponents of a planned $6 billion data center in Festus have gathered enough signatures to force a recall vote on a fourth public official, 1st Ward Councilman David Boyer, as a lawyer for the public officials threatens to file suit.
"Vote them out," was chanted by the crowd as the Festus City Council moved to approve a $6 billion, 365-acre data center despite passionate pleas from some residents to reject the plan or let the citizens vote on the development.听
