The Laclede Group signed a lease for 35,034 square feet of space at theÌýBank of America Plaza office tower in downtown.Ìý
The ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´-based utility company is moving a portion of its business to the first and second floors of the 30-story Bank of America Plaza building in early 2015 from its current space at 720 Olive St.
David Steinbach and David Biales of real estate brokerage JLL represented Bank of America Plaza's owner, Positive Investments, in the 10-year lease withÌýwith two 5-year renewal options, and Laclede was represented byÌýCresa’s Rick Dames and Steve Schmid. Laclede's lease brings the 750,000 square-foot Bank of America Plaza's occupancy to more than 90 percent, Steinbach said.Ìý
Earlier this year, Laclede signed for office space at the former General American building at 700 Market Street, where it plans to move its headquarters. The 700 Market building is next to Bank of America Plaza.

The extra office space at Bank of America Plaza will complement its office space at the former General American building, according to Laclede spokeswoman Jenny Gobble.Ìý
