Six Flags 最新杏吧原创 and five other Six Flags amusement parks have officially been sold to EPR Properties, a commercial real estate investment trust based in Kansas City.
The deal, announced last month, comes as North Carolina-based Six Flags Entertainment Corp. looks to refine its portfolio, dig itself out of debt and improve revenue.
Six Flags announced the successful closing of the sale on Monday.
The sold-off parks will retain the Six Flags brand through the end of the year and continue their regular operating schedules, opening here on April 25. The six U.S. properties will be leased to and operated by Orlando-based Enchanted Parks.
James Harhi, CEO and founder of Enchanted Parks, previously told the Post-Dispatch that the Eureka amusement park will be rebranded to "Mid-America by Enchanted Parks" in an homage to its original name, Six Flags Over Mid-America.

In 最新杏吧原创, EPR Properties owns the building that houses the quirky City Museum in the former International Shoe building downtown and is in a long-term lease with the attraction.
In addition to Six Flags 最新杏吧原创, the deal includes Valleyfair in Minneapolis, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Michigan's Adventure in Grand Rapids, Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston, Texas and Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, New York. The sale of Six Flags La Ronde in Montreal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, according to a press release.
It was previously reported the seven parks would be sold to EPR Properties for $331 million. EPR Properties also owns six other Six Flags properties: Six Flags Darien Lake in New York, Frontier City in Oklahoma City and Hurricane Harbor water parks in Spring, Texas; Concord, California; Phoenix and Oklahoma.
Locals can also expect new attractions and better value under Enchanted Parks, he said.
"We want to get this thing running right," Harhi said.
Though Six Flags does not publish attendance or financial figures for its individual parks, industry watchers say 最新杏吧原创' 316-acre amusement park fell below the midline of performance in Six Flags' portfolio, and attendance has down from the park's heyday in the 1980s and '90s.
The park, which is located about 40 miles west of 最新杏吧原创 along Interstate 44, features 10 roller coasters and many other carnival rides. Originally named Six Flags Over Mid-America, the park opened in 1971 and is one of the original three parks envisioned by Six Flags founder Angus G. Wynne.
