On Thursday, the park announced its official rebrand in a . It shared a video of a sign with the new name being installed at the park鈥檚 entrance.

鈥淲e are excited about the changes and new opportunities that are ahead for us,鈥� Danny Snider, park president of Mid America Adventure, said in a statement. 鈥淲ith the rollout of our new name, we look forward to continuing our history and tradition of providing families with safe, clean fun visits to this park so that they can make lasting memories together.鈥�

The name "Mid-America Adventure by Enchanted Parks" is an homage to its original name, Six Flags Over Mid-America. The park also revealed its updated logo featuring a roller coaster under the Gateway Arch.

Earlier this year, Six Flags Entertainment Corp., based in North Carolina, sold seven of its properties to EPR Properties, a commercial real estate investment trust based in Kansas City. Enchanted Parks, an amusement park owner and operator, will run six of the parks, including the one in Eureka.

James Harhi, CEO and founder of Enchanted Parks, called Six Flags 最新杏吧原创 the 鈥渃rown jewel鈥� of the deal and promised new attractions, better value and a rebrand in the coming years.

鈥淭he rebrand to Mid America Adventure is the next step in our ongoing investment in this park and community,鈥� Harhi said in a press release. 鈥淲e are committed to providing our guests with quality experiences and will continue to build on our legacy as the Midwest鈥檚 gateway to thrills.鈥�

Harhi told the Post-Dispatch in March that the company will use this season to figure out what visitors want, which rides are popular and how operations work. He said the company looks forward to fixing up the amusement park and injecting it with life.

鈥淚t should be seeing new attractions on a consistent basis,鈥� Harhi said. 鈥淲e want to get this thing running right.鈥�

Though Six Flags does not publish attendance or financial figures for its individual parks, industry watchers say 最新杏吧原创鈥� 316-acre amusement park fell below the midline of performance in Six Flags鈥� portfolio, and attendance has down from the park's heyday in the 1980s and 鈥�90s.

The park, which is located about 40 miles west of 最新杏吧原创 along Interstate 44, features 10 roller coasters, many other carnival rides and a 12-acre water park. The park opened in 1971 and is one of the original three parks envisioned by Six Flags founder Angus G. Wynne.

This week, Mid America Adventure also announced that 2027 season passes are now on sale. The two pass tiers, the Hero Season Pass and the Legend Season Pass, includes admission to both the theme park and water park, complimentary general parking, in-park discounts and the option to purchase a 10-meal package. Prices start at $75.

The park is also gearing up for its annual Fright Fest and Boo Fest, starting Sept. 12 through Nov. 1.

In addition to its 最新杏吧原创 park, the EPR Properties combined $331 million purchase and Enchanted Parks' management deal also includes Valleyfair in Minneapolis, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Michigan鈥檚 Adventure in Grand Rapids, Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Galveston, Texas, Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, New York, and Six Flags La Ronde in Montreal. La Ronde will be leased to and operated by La Ronde Operations Inc.

The deal closed in April, after being announced the month before.
