ANAHEIM, Calif. 鈥 Cardinals rookie JJ Wetherholt felt like he saw Angels left-hander Reid Detmers 鈥減retty good鈥 in his first two at-bats against him Wednesday at Angel Stadium despite not having a hit to show for it. He felt he wasn鈥檛 able to make 鈥済reat contact鈥 in the first two trips to the plate against Detmers and stepped to the plate in the sixth inning trying to 鈥渄o less鈥 in his third at-bat against him.
