Fisher is strong and quick and covers a lot of ground. Led the Redbirds with a .429 average, five home runs, 45 RBI and 39 runs.
IF: Jordan Corby, junior, Edwardsville
Perhaps the Tigers best hitter in the postseason. Finished at .453 with a home run and 24 RBI.
IF: Lindsey Mossman, junior, Belleville East
Quickness marks Mossman's play at shortstop. Gets to nearly everything hit her way. Batted .306 with 26 RBI and 33 runs.
IF: Jessica Belzer, sophomore, Belleville East
A pleasant surprise for the Lancers, she appears set as an anchor at the hot corner for two more seasons. Hit a team-best .440 with 30 RBI and 27 runs.
OF: Aaliyah St. John, senior, Belleville West
Incredibly speedy, St. John sparked the top of the Maroons order, hitting .364 with 20 stolen bases. Used her quickness to run down any ball in her range.
OF: Tawnee Kramer, senior, Belleville East
One of the Lancers' veterans, she played stellar defense and hit .371 with 30 runs and 22 stolen bases.
OF: Hayli Green, junior, Edwardsville
Every one of Green's home runs either won a game or gave the Tigers a lead. She hit .391 with 26 RBI, 12 walks and 28 runs.
UT: Kassidy Smith, junior, Collinsville
Bashed six home runs, drove in 24, had 16 doubles and scored 24 times. A first team all-Southwestern Conference selection.
Mostly pitches, but is a tremendous offensive force and heady baserunner. Hit .436 with six home runs and 36 RBI. Stole 21 bases. Struck out 151 in 169 innings.
