COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥 The path to an NBA roster spot likely lies in Las Vegas for former Missouri men鈥檚 basketball star Mark Mitchell.
With the NBA draft taking place this week, Mitchell appears to be a possible selection during Wednesday's second round, when picks No. 31 through 60 are made. But even then, he鈥檚 not guaranteed to be drafted despite a strong four-year collegiate career at Duke and Mizzou.

St. Mary's RB Kingston Miles flips commitment from Auburn to Mizzou
COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥 St. Mary's running back Kingston Miles flipped his verbal commitment from Auburn to Missouri on Monday, making a high-profile switch to play for an in-state collegiate program.
Miles, who was a Post-Dispatch second-team All-Metro talent for the Dragons last season, announced his change of heart on social media Monday afternoon. He'd been committed to Auburn since early June.

Coban Porter, brother of Michael Porter Jr., back in basketball after fatal DUI crash
DENVER 鈥 Coban Porter is getting another chance on the court 鈥 one even he said he has to prove he deserves.
Porter, the former University of Denver player who killed Kathy Limon Rothman in a DUI crash in 2023, is returning to college basketball for Division II Metropolitan State of Denver this year. The university announced his addition to the Roadrunners鈥 roster on Friday, about six months after Porter was released from prison early, and eight days after he started his parole.
