ARCADIA, Missouri — Water rescue crews from across the state flocked to southern Missouri on Friday afternoon, braving treacherous conditions to save people stranded when nearly a foot of rain fell in a matter of hours.
The Southern Iron County Fire Protection District posted these pictures of the Big River Creek at the Highway K bridge. The image on the left was taken an hour before the one on the right on Friday morning.
