Off to the races? Here鈥檚 what you need to know before heading to in Madison, Illinois, for the 10th annual Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline June 5-7.
The weekend kicks off with 鈥淔ree Friday鈥 on June 5 at 5 p.m., an opportunity for visitors to check out the Gateway Garage Experience, walk around the track and enjoy a concert at The Shed campground music stage. Practice sessions start on Saturday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m. with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone at 2:05 p.m.听
The official races get underway Sunday, June 7, with the INDY NXT by Firestone Series competition at 4:30 p.m. The USAC Silver Crown OUTFRONT Route 66 Classic presented by Welsch Heating & Cooling follows at 5:45 p.m., with the main NTT INDYCAR SERIES Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline scheduled for 8 p.m.

What to expect
Simply put, a full weekend of racing thrills and excitement with the entire NTT INDYCAR SERIES roster of drivers in attendance! Live music, autograph sessions, vendor exhibits, STEM Lane, SICW Championship Wrestling, fireworks and a family-fun zone of interactive race-themed activities round out the weekend.听
Tickets
General admission tickets for the Sunday, June 7, races start at $50; reserved seats from $85. For Saturday, general admission starts at $30 and reserved seats from $50. Prices increase June 1.
Seating options include the frontstretch grandstands with picnic tables underneath. (ADA seating is available; call the WWT Raceway ticket office at (618) 215-8888, ext. 1 for more information.) Or upgrade your experience with a Paddock Pass for access to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES paddock and garages, additional infield seating and shaded viewing areas with TV screens.
A Premium Pit Pass (for guests 18 and up) offers all the Paddock Pass benefits plus the chance to walk through the cold pits as drivers and teams prepare to race.
Parking
One-day general parking is $20 cash or card at the gate, with upgraded parking starting from $57 on Saturday and $62 on Sunday. Visitors can also purchase VIP parking for the entire weekend for $79. ADA options are available both days.
Gate guidelines
Fans are welcome to bring in their own snacks, unopened nonalcoholic drinks, 14x14x14 soft sided coolers and empty water bottles to fill at stations on the midway.听Glass bottles are prohibited. Vendors will be on hand with a selection of food and beverages for purchase. WWT Raceway accepts cash and credit cards; payment methods may vary by individual vendor.
What to wear
June weather can be unpredictable in the Midwest. Dress for the forecast, wear comfortable shoes and don鈥檛 forget the sunscreen. Feeling overheated? Visit the cooling buses parked in the infield and on the midway.
