Mizzou women's basketball assembles young roster for 2026-27 season
COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥 It looks like Kellie Harper wants to assemble an old-school talent pipeline for her Missouri women鈥檚 basketball program. After emerging from a hectic debut season, she鈥檚 settling into a recruit-and-develop approach to building rosters.
The Tigers鈥 2026-27 squad is likely set. Of the 13 players, four are seniors. There鈥檚 one junior, three sophomores and five freshmen.
Mizzou football begins hosting official visits for recruits with 10 commits already
COLUMBIA, Mo. 鈥 It鈥檚 the time of year when high school recruiting seems to matter once again to college football programs like Missouri.
June 鈥 and, technically, the tail end of May 鈥 mean school is out, and official visits can begin. Many top-level recruits have already taken an unofficial visit or two to the college programs they鈥檙e considering, but these early-summer events tend to come with a little more theatrical polish.

Worthy: Not so fast on that whole idea that Congress saved college sports
The College sports machine loves a branded rivalry that it can sell to market, promote, sell to fans and monetize. Well, someone start coming up with T-shirt concepts for the next big tussle: Conferences v. Congress.
The latest proposed legislation regarding the governance and structure of college athletics, the Protect College Sports Act, landed this week courtesy of the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee.
