There鈥檚 no shortage of excitement about newcomers into the University of Missouri men鈥檚 basketball program, whether that be incoming freshmen or transfers from other programs. Still, one of the most intriguing developments to watch unfold this coming season will be Trent Pierce鈥檚 role as a leader and a glue guy for a program that has lofty aspirations.
The 6-foot-10, 225-pound senior forward goes into next season as a returning starter, the team鈥檚 top returning scorer (10.4 points per game) and leader in minutes played 鈥 despite missing the first 13 games of the season with an injury 鈥 as well as holding the title of captain.

Coban Porter, brother of Michael Porter Jr., back in basketball after fatal DUI crash
DENVER 鈥 Coban Porter is getting another chance on the court 鈥 one even he said he has to prove he deserves.
Porter, the former University of Denver player who killed Kathy Limon Rothman in a DUI crash in 2023, is returning to college basketball for Division II Metropolitan State of Denver this year. The university announced his addition to the Roadrunners鈥 roster on Friday, about six months after Porter was released from prison early, and eight days after he started his parole.
