Blues Power Play Dance
The origin of the Power Play Dance at Blues games is unclear. Here is now Post-Dispatch sports columnist Ben Frederickson described it in May 2016:
"Some do it politely, restrained to their seat. Others leap to their feet and move to an aisle to secure more room for self expression. The detractors who complain about its tackiness always glare 鈥 like that will stop it.
"No one really knows when or why the Power Play Dance came to be. Some say it began with some fans in the Scottrade Center mocking another fan's moves. Others blame too much Budweiser. At this point, the origin matters little. It seems to be here to stay."
