ST. LOUIS 鈥 A local developer is dumping plans for a data center near the Armory entertainment venue in Midtown and instead pitching a bigger data center development just west.
A development team featuring local investor Rod Thomas and Las Vegas-based real estate firm Contour has plans to build a 487,000-square-foot data center just west of the Armory in Midtown. Plans also call for a renovation of the former munitions venue into Class A office space.
The proposed data center would be built on 613 acres of farmland near the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit.
